In this video, we are taking a closer look at the new 2020 iPad Pro. Apple quietly released this refreshed version of the iPad Pro in both the 11 inch and 12.9-inch version. Some of the new upgrades on the new iPad include a new camera setup including a new ultra-wide camera and Lidar scanner to boost its AR capabilities. A new prossesser now called the A12Z Bionic that features an 8 core GPU up from a 7 core GPU from previous models. For the most part, only the graphics are getting a slight boost in the speed, the performance of the chip has not really changed. All new models not ship with 6 GB of RAM up from 4GB in the 2018 model. One feature that many are excited about is the new trackpad, mouse and updated cursor support. This was made available via the iPad OS update 13.4. Cursor and trackpad support are available to older iPads as well it is not a 2020 iPad Pro specific update. What is exclusive however is a new keyboard folio that was announced alongside the new iPad Pro called the Magic Keyboard and features a built-in trackpad. This new keyboard folio will not be available until sometime in May.
