In this video, we are taking a look at the vlogging cage from Ulanzi for the GoPro Hero 8 Black. This all-metal case is similar to vlogging cases that they have sold in the past but it is designed to house the new form factor of the Hero 8. The Hero 8 Black can use the microphone adapter that was released for the Hero 5/6/7 and so Ulamzi has added a microphone adapter holder in this vlogging case that keeps it held into place and keeps the setup organized. If you don’t plan on using a microphone and are just buying the housing for the strong metal protection it can offer, the holder can be removed. The vlogging case features a 1/4 20 mount on the bottom in addition to a standard GoPro finger mount that can be added. This vlogging case features two cold shoes for adding accessories such as a microphone and a light. To finish off the setup we add a LumeCube 2.0 light and a Rode VideoMicro microphone to create the perfect vlogging rig.
