In this video, we are doing a stabilization comparison of the GoPro Hero 8 Black’s Hypersmooth 2.o versus the DJI Osmo Action’s Rocksteady. Keep in mind during this comparison, Hypersmooth is in its second generation now while the Rocksteady stabilization from DJI is still the first generation so it’s not really a truly fair comparison. Most likely DJI will be releasing an updated action camera sometime in 202o that will most likely have RockSteady 2.0. That will be a fairer and very interesting comparison.
