So I took my DJI Avata out for a flight yesterday and within 30 seconds of flight, the drone just dropped out of the sky and fell into Lake Erie; unfortunately, it was not retrievable. I thought it was a bird strike at first but upon inspection of the goggles video one of the props shattered. These were factory-installed props so over-tightening was not the issue. Just thought I would make a video as a heads-up to be careful and perhaps carefully inspect your propellers for microcracking.
