In this video, we are demonstrating the power of the iPad Mini 6 and its capabilities when editing 4K and 5K footage in video editing apps such as LumaFusion. The iPad Mini 6 comes equipped with a 5 core GPU and the new A15 Bionic chip, the same one that is found in the new iPhone 13 lineup. It is clocked down a bit but still lightning fast. I demonstrate how fluid and smooth it is to scrub along 5K footage in the timeline which even high-end computers can struggle with. The playback of the high-resolution 4K video is also buttery smooth. I am a full-time mobile editor, I edit all my YouTube and even commercial work videos on an iPad so performance is very important to me. In my opinion, the iPad Mini 6 is the perfect video editing device for those editing on the go or even at home on the couch or patio due to its extremely powerful chip and small portable form factor.
