In this video, we are performing a hover test of the new DJI Mavic 3. One of the new features of the Mavic 3 is that it is rated to fly for 46 minutes. Of course, this is in perfect conditions in real-world situations you will not get this. But still compared to other drones that is pretty incredible. One test I like to perform on new drones is a simple hover test to see how long it will hover for. Hovering is not as efficient as flying so the number will be lower but my results were still pretty impressive. I should also mention this test was performed on a cold day (2 degrees Celsius) so the cool temperature will also limit the time it can fly or hover as batteries perform best when warm.
