The Mavic 3 has been out for about a month now and I have had a good amount of time to fly it, test it out and learn what its strengths and weaknesses are. The Mavic 3 has probably been one of the most anticipated drone releases in recent years and it has turned out to be one of the most controversial and opinion divided at that. The main complaint of the Mavic 3 is the price, it is very expensive compared to other consumer drones from DJI in the past. Then when you factor in all the missing features on release day, it left many feeling jaded. Now since I recorded my review there was a major firmware update released for the Mavic 3 that brought many of the missing features to the newly released drone and even a month early. DJI first stated these features would be available in January but released the firmware update almost a month early. At the time of publishing this video, I have not been able to fully test the new firmware update to see if it has addressed some of the problems that I was having with my Mavic 3 but I will be following up with a second review in the coming weeks.
