This is a long-term review of the Autel Evo 2 pro after flying the drone for 1 year. I like to follow up with products I review to see how they hold up over time and to see if my opinion or user experience has changed over the year. I can still say that this is one solid drone and still probably has one of my favorite cameras. Overall I have been happy with my purchase and the quality of content that this drone can capture. The remote is still a disappointment, it’s not very comfortable and I do hope for the next generation they do a complete redesign of the remote controller.
Review Update: Sometime after publishing my long-term review, like many I noticed micro-cracks appearing in the body of the drone. For the most part, this is not a structural problem but more cosmetics. Either way, it is concerning. I ended sending my Evo 2 Pro in for repair to get them fixed. It cost me a little under $100 to have a new shell installed.
