In a surprise move, DJI released the January firmware update that was to bring all the missing features to the Mavic 3 early. I think due to backlash from the public and perhaps even poor sales. DJI has released a major firmware update that brought many of the features that were absent on launch day. The features that were added in this update include:
- Focus Track
- Active Track 5.0
- Point Of Interest
- Spotlight
- MasterShots
- TimeLapse
- HyperLapse
- Raw Photo Only
- Bug Fixes
Features that are still absent include:
- Panorama
- QuickShots
I have not been able to full test some of the new features out or to see if this firmware update has corrected some of the problems I was having with my Mavic 3 but I will be doing follow up videos going more into detail about this firmware update in the very near future.
