The DJI Action 2 has been out for about a month now and I have been using and testing it for the last 30 days. I am still on the fence about this camera. on one hand, I really like the modular system and the fact I can use just the camera module if I need a small POV camera or I can connect it to the dual-screen module if I need a more full-featured action camera. However, I don’t know if I can even call this an action camera anymore. Although it has a really nice build quality and feels like a premium product it does seem to be a little delicate and perhaps would not withstand much in the way of heavy action use, after all, you cant even replace the front lens if it gets damaged. Even worse this camera has some pretty severe limitations that I think many would find very limiting if trying to use it as their full time action camera. Between the small amount of built storage on the camera module, and no real battery (unless you buy several expensive replacement modules) this may be the deciding factor for many.
