In this video, we are doing a stabilization comparison of the GoPro Hero 8 Black versus the stabilization on the Hero 7 Black. Essentially we are comparing HyperSmooth 1.0 against HyperSmooth 2.0. With the launch of the Hero 7 Black GoPro introduced HyperSmooth which was incredible. It was really the first time you could get gimbal-like stabilization without the gimbal. GoPro recently introduced HyperSmooth 2.0 with the Hero 8 Black and they have somehow taken amazing smooth video and made it even better. Watch our video sample below.
