I have made a few YouTube videos about the latest firmware updates for the DJI Smart Controller and in this video, I am going to take a closer look at one new feature a little more in-depth. This by far, in my opinion, is one of the most useful new features that DJI has added and that is AirCraft Management. This new feature allows you to bind several Ocusync 2.0 drones the Smart Controller at the same time. If you own both the Mavic 2 Pro or Mavic 2 Zoom or perhaps even the Mavic 2 Enterprise or Enterprise Dual, you now only need to bring one controller with you when heading out to capture some drone footage. Myself when I am out adventuring quite often I have both my Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom and in the past this meant I had to pack 2 controllers or if I wanted to only pack one controller I would have to bind the second aircraft every time I wanted to fly. Now With AirCraft Management, you can simply switch back and forth without having to go through the binding procedure every time. Going forward as DJI releases new Ocusync 2.0 drone we should have the option to bind them to the aircraft as well.

As a side note and I must put a disclaimer that this is against drone regulations and could cause you to break laws, crash/lose your drone, cause property damage or even cause injury. Do not try this. You can put your first drone in the air, connect to the second drone and put it in the air as well, you switch back and forth as both drones are in the air. I wish DJI had put a safety feature on this, preventing the second drone from taking off if it detects that one of the drones it is bound with is already in the air.
